REPORTING TO: Production/General Manager
Purpose of the Job
To ensure smooth running of blowing department in effective and efficiency by proper utilization of available man power together with Machinery, in order to meet the daily and monthly production targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing and supervising blowing department effectively by closely cooperating with maintenance department and Production department.
• Preparing and sending daily and monthly report to General Manager, Production Manager Senior Plant Engineer, Resident Director, Accounting and cc to Human Resource Manager.
• Doing physical stock count of bottlers bags every day and end of month.
• Checking quality of bottlers before taking it to production and closely monitoring operators in separating rejected bottlers from the produced ones.
• Recording and reporting any Machine breakdown, power cutoff and machine status to the management daily.
• Ensuring cleanness of the machine, maintaining environmental and personal hygienic daily and restricting incompetent operators to repair the machine.
• Scheduling operators’ shift and set the target to be met by every operator to every shift in order to meet daily production target.
• Cooperating with maintenance team to check the status of the machine, ensuring full maintenance of the whole Machines and make sure that there is availability of technician to every shift.
• Crosschecking pre-formsbags which are received from Injection department and measure its quantity accordingly in order to get an actual data/figure.
• Planning, organizing and initiating innovative techniques in order to ensure smooth running of blowing department.
• Conducting meeting with Operators and Technicians once per week in order to hear their concern and finding the proper solution to tackle it with the management.
• Arranging the bags in categories e.g. 350ml,600ml,1.0lt in systemized manner and ensure availability of enough space.
• Arranging track to take rejected bottlers and preform then take it to seller and damped area.
• To make sure all the technicians, operators and helper are wearing uniforms andPPE all the time.
• Performing other duties as it will be assigned by management.
N.B Should have at least three years’ experience in managing bottling machine and man power with bachelor of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
