VACANT POSTS
Zanzibar University invites job applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill the following posts:
I. MATRON
QUALIFICATIONS
(a) An applicant must be a holder of Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Education or Social Welfare or guidance and counselling, psychology or organisational behaviour;
(b) Good command of written and spoken English and kiswahili languages;
(c) Working experience of not less than five years in teaching or education field;
(d) Knowledge of Arabic language and First Aid performance will be an added advantage;
II. LIBRARIAN
QUALIFICATIONS
(a) An applicant must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Sciences;
(b) Good command of written and spoken English language;
(c) Working experience of at least three years in the same field will be an added advantage;
(d) An applicant must be ready to work at nights hours, if required;
(e) Knowledge of Arabic language will be an added advantage.

The University will offer a good salary, house allowance and other benefits to any successful candidate.
