The University of Dar es Salaam, under Sida Mathematics project has been supporting postgraduate training since 2015. An initial offer of 4 sponsorships by the Sida Mathematics project was granted to 4 MSc students in Pure Mathematics for the academic years 2016/2017- 2017/2018. The Department of Mathematics, through the Sida Mathematics project wishes to announce another four sponsorships to study MSc in Pure Mathematics, for a period 2017/2018-2018/2019. Training, in terms of teaching and research supervision, is done by the Department of Mathematics, with some support from Swedish academic staff members from Swedish partner universities. The department also invites other privately sponsored candidates to apply to join the MSc degrees in both Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling.
